The memorial service for the three women killed in the deadly hostage situation at a Yountville veterans home will take place at 6 p.m. on Monday.

Here is the latest information available about the “Celebration of Life” event scheduled for Monday, March 19 at 6:00 PM PT at the Performing Arts Center at Lincoln Theater, 100 California Drive, Yountville CA 94599 (on the campus of the Veterans Home of California).
Organizers stress that the event will be a solemn and respectful honoring of the lives and contributions of the three brave women who lost their lives at The Pathway Home last Friday; an opportunity for family members, friends, and community to grieve together; and a moment to thank all of those who support our nation’s veterans, especially in the area of mental health.
The event is a collaborative effort supported by The Pathway Home, Veterans Home of California – Yountville, California Department of Veterans Affairs, The Town of Yountville, the Yountville Chamber of Commerce, the Performing Arts Center at the Lincoln Theater, and the U.S. Veterans Administration. Family members of the victims of last Friday’s shootings have been consulted in preparation of the event. PLEASE NOTE that family members have requested that their loved ones be formally referred to as Dr. Jennifer Gray Golick, Christine Loeber, and Dr. Jennifer Gonzales Shushereba.
LOGISTICS
The event is open to the public. The theater holds 1,200 people and is expected to reach capacity. Doors will open at 4:30 PM on Monday and seating is first-come, first-served. Certain sections of the theater will be reserved for family members. Free parking is available on the Veterans Home campus and will be clearly marked, as will theater access for the disabled. Once the theater fills, participants will be directed to a remote viewing site at the Yountville Community Center at 6516 Washington St., Yountville.
