Several groups in the Bay Area are planning to protest on Monday— Presidents Day— in response to President Trump’s declaration of a national emergency at the U.S.-Mexico border.
Demonstrations will take place in Oakland, San Francisco, and San Jose.
Organizers hope the rallies will bring together members of the community who are committed to stopping what they say is an ongoing attack on immigrants.
Oakland: Merritt College at 11:30 a.m.
San Francisco: 12 p.m. at the SF Federal Building
San Jose: 12 p.m. at the corner of Stevens Creek Boulevard and Winchester.
