CHANHASSEN, Minnesota (KRON) — Fans of Prince are going to have to wait a little bit to get an up-close look at where he lived and recorded a lot of his music.

His Minnesota home was supposed to open to tours on Thursday, but that plan is now changing.

There are concerns about traffic as well as public safety in the area.

Until those issues are sorted out, a limited number of people will be allowed in on Thursday, Saturday, and then Friday of next week.

Those who bought tickets for other dates will receive a full refund.

The Chanhassen City Council wants to review public safety and traffic concerns before allowing Paisley Park to operate as a museum.

Prince died of a drug overdose in April at 57 years old.
