A magnitude 7.4 earthquake has struck off the eastern coast of Russia, according to U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake struck near the island of Nikolskoye in east Russia, USGS reports.
Hazardous tsunami waves are possible along the coasts of Russia within 300 km of the quake’s epicenter.
The National Weather Service says there is no tsunami expected for the United State’s West Coast or Hawaii.
