SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Over 9,000 people lost power Friday morning in San Francisco, according to PG&E.

All power was restored around 1:00 p.m.

The power outage occurred around 10:32 a.m. in San Francisco’s Noe Valley and Glen Park districts, a PG&E official said.

Power was restored to some parts of the area, but as of 11:54 a.m., 525 people were still without power at that time.

Traffic lights in the area had also stopped working.

San Francisco streets are busier than usual due to the influx of people for Super Bowl 50. Street traffic attendants have been guiding traffic through the congested areas in the city.

PG&E crews acted, now power is restored in all areas.

The cause of the outage is still unknown at this time.
