NAPA (KRON) — There have been five confirmed cases of Hepatitis A in Napa in the last two weeks, according to Napa County Public Health officials.

Napa County officials are still searching for the source of the infection.  Hepatitis A is typically transmitted thought person to person contact, or more commonly through shared food or drink.

Two of the five cases involve employees of La Toque restaurant and BANK Café and Bar in The Westin Verasa Napa. The source of those infections is unknown, and there are no known cases involving customers. There are three other cases that have no known association with these locations or other public settings.

If you or someone you know has eaten at La Toque or BANK Cafe, you are advised to see your doctor.

Symptoms of Hepatitis A

*   Fever

*   Fatigue

*   Loss of appetite

*   Nausea

*   Vomiting

*   Abdominal discomfort

*   Dark urine

*   Clay-colored bowel movement

*   Joint pain

*   Jaundice (yellowing of the eyes or skin)
