Poll: Hillary Clinton’s unfavorability at new high

WASHINGTON, D.C. (KRON) — A new poll finds Hillary Clinton’s favorable rating sliding, and it is now right there with Donald Trump’s, according to an ABC News poll.

Fifty-nine percent of registered voters now say their opinion of Clinton is unfavorable, CNN reports.

That puts Clinton on par with Trump who is viewed unfavorably by 60 percent of registered voters, according to CNN.

The overwhelmingly negative numbers reflect the unhappiness of the 2016 electorate with both candidates.

The poll was conducted between Aug. 24 and 28 and surveyed about 1,000 people, CNN said.CNN contributed to this report.
