WASHINGTON (KRON) — A new poll found that 53 percent of Americans disapprove of the way President Obama is handling the threat of terrorism.

And for the first time, a majority of people disagree with his push for more gun control. In a Washington Post-ABC survey taken over the weekend, 53 percent oppose a ban on assault weapons.

That is a jump of 11 percent in just two years, and the highest ever since pollsters began asking the question 20 years ago.
