Police seeking suspects in San Jose home burglary

SAN JOSE (BCN) — Police are asking for help identifying and finding two suspects in a home burglary in San Jose in November, police said today. The burglary took place at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 27 in the 2800 block of Smithers Drive.

The suspects went into the home through an unlocked door and ransacked two bedrooms, according to police. One suspect used a tool to pry open an interior door to the garage.


Police are describing one suspect as a white or Hispanic youth, 16 to 18 years old, about 140 pounds and 5 feet 7 inches tall. He was wearing light-colored pants, a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and a baseball cap.

The second suspect is being described as a white or Hispanic male youth, 16 to 18 years old, about 140 pounds and 5 feet 8 inches tall. He was wearing a light-colored hooded jacket and carrying a tool for prying.
