SALINAS (BCN) — Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating two men who allegedly robbed a store at gunpoint Saturday night in Salinas.
According to police, a man was closing a store in the 1200 block of North Main Street just before 9 p.m., when two hooded people came into the store demanding money.
The victim told police that one of the suspects brandished a silver handgun before leaving with an undisclosed amount of money as well as various items from the store.
Police said the suspects were in the store for about five minutes before fleeing heading west through the parking lot.
The first suspect was described by police as a white man around six feet tall, weighing between 135-140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black jeans, a black mask and white gloves.
The second suspect, was a man of an unknown race with a thin build, five feet, 11 inches, last seen wearing a black hoodie, a tan mask and gray gloves.
