SAUSALITO (KRON) — Saulsalito police are asking the public’s help in finding witnesses who may have spoken to a man before he was found dead in the water near Dunphy Park in Sausalito earlier this month.
Police are still awaiting autopsy results to determine cause of death, but for now they are considering the death of 65-year-old Othon “Bill” Birba suspicious.
Birba, who was homeless, was found dead around 9 a.m. on May 1.
Police discovered Birba’s body and closed off Dunphy Park for investigation purposes.
Police are still looking for leads in the case.
