SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — San Francisco police are searching for a suspects that stole a 16-year-old girl’s cello from the trunk of her car while it was parked in a garage on April 11th.

At approximately 9 p.m. on April 11, a man and a woman entered a garage in the 100 block of O’Farrell Street, according to police.

After breaking into the victim’s car, the female suspect took the cello, along with several other items from the car as the male suspect waited in the getaway car.

Police described the instrument as a 2014 Emilio Stradella cello that is a Montagnana model with the serial number 1115. They said it is valued at $8,500 and comes from Roland Feller in San Francisco.

The theft was captured on surveillance video showing the male suspect as approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds and is between 30 40 years old with a shaved head.

The female suspect is described as a white woman, approximately 5 feet five inches tall and weighing 160 pounds with a medium build. She has brown hair and is between 20 and 30 years old, police said.
