SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO (KRON)– Police in South San Francisco are searching for two men suspected of robbing a man at gunpoint Friday on the Centennial Way trail.

The victim, a South San Francisco resident, was walking on the trail between 8:45 and 9 p.m. near Kaiser Hospital when two suspects approached him.  They came from behind and pressed a handgun to the victims left and right side.

The two men proceeded to rob the victim of his wallet, watch and leather jacket, according to police.

The suspects then fled north on the trail, towards El Camino Real.

According to police the victim was unharmed.

Police described the first suspect as a black male, aged 20 to 25, clean-shaven and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

The second suspect is described as a black male, aged 20 to 25, clean-shaven, and was also wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, according to police.

Both suspects were armed with a black, semi automatic handgun, possibly a 9-millimeter in caliber, police said.
