Police responded to a Pacifica high school Friday morning after a rumored threat.
According to the Pacifica Police Department, around 11:00 a.m. officers were advised by staff at Terra Nova High School that a student reported seeing a threatening message on social media three days ago.
Authorities say the social media post stated a shooting would occur at the school around noon on Friday.
The student just brought the information to school staff, who in turn contacted police.
Officers immediately responded and coordinated with school staff to place the school into secure campus mode.
