Police Release Videos Of Two Petaluma Burglaries Committed By Same Suspect

PETALUMA (BCN) — Petaluma police have released videos of two commercial burglaries that occurred in April hoping the public can help identify the suspect.

The suspect is a dark-skinned white male who may also be a light-skinned black male in his late 30s or early 40s with thick dark hair, Lt. Ken Savano said.

The suspect took nine cell phones valued at more than $1,000 from the AT&T store at 1367 North McDowell Blvd. between 9:05 p.m. April 24 and 5 a.m. on April 25, Savano said. The same suspect committed a burglary at BioSearch Technologies at 2199 South McDowell Boulevard between 8:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. on April 29, Savano said.

The suspect was wearing coveralls he found inside the business to attempt to blend in with other employees who were working at the time, Savano said. Three Dell laptop computers valued at more than $2,000 were taken, Savano said.

There was no forced entry in either burglary and the method of entry is unknown, Savano said.

Police are hoping the public can help identify the suspect and call Sgt. Ed Crosby at (707) 778-4415.
