MILTON, N.Y. (WTEN) – The mobile home park manager accused of strangling a tenant over playing loud music is now facing manslaughter charges.

Police say on Sunday, the victim Scott Montie, 51, of Ballston Spa, N.Y., died from his injuries.

On Friday, police say an altercation between Montie and Creek and Pines Mobile Home Park Manager Harold Wolcott, 40, of Ballston Spa, broke after Montie was confronted over the music.

Wolcott was initially charged with 1st degree strangulation.

Wolcott was arraigned on the 2nd degree manslaughter charge and secured $15,000 cash or $30,000 bond.

He is due back in court on Thursday.
