SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Officers are responding to a fatal shooting in San Francisco on Wednesday afternoon.

On Wednesday at approximately 12:09 p.m., San Francisco Police Department began receiving calls reporting a person shot at 23rd and Dakota streets, according to Officer Giselle Talkoff.

Officers arrived to find a black male at the scene. Police and paramedics began providing aid and preforming CPR on the victim but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials ruled the incident as a homicide.

No arrest has been made and no suspect information is available at this time.

San Francisco Police Department and crime scene investigators are on the scene.
