WATSONVILLE (KRON) — Watsonville police are investigating a shooting after a house was hit several times by gunfire on Friday morning.
Officers responded at 5:03 a.m. Friday morning on report of shots fired in the area of East Beach and Blackburn streets.
Police said multiple callers reported hearing a loud vehicle leaving the scene following the shooting.
Residents of 420 E. Beach St. connected with officers at the scene and indicated that multiple bullets had hit their house.
There are no reported injuries.
Officers collected evidence of the shooting and spoke to several witnesses.
The case of this incident remains unknown at this time but believed to not be gang-related, according to police.
