Police investigating armed robbery at Petaluma cell phone store

PETALUMA — Police in Petaluma are asking for the public’s help in finding three men suspected of robbing an AT&T store at gunpoint.

Police say the armed robbery occurred just before 8 p.m. Tuesday at the cell phone store on the 300 block of S. McDowell Boulevard. The three suspects allegedly entered the store, one armed with a handgun, and told employees to handover electronic devices and property. The suspects then put the items in a pillowcase and fled.

Police say the suspects left the scene in a red sedan. The same trio is suspected in a similar robbery in Santa Rosa that happened earlier in the day.

Police describe the first suspect as a black male with dreadlocks, dressed in an orange jumpsuit and hooded sweatshirt. The second suspect is an adult male, wearing a sweatshirt. The third suspect is described as a Hispanic male with a light mustache, also dressed in a black hooded sweatshirt

Those with information on the robbery are encouraged to contact the Petaluma Police Department.
