BERKELEY (KRON) — Thieves made off with computers in another smash and grab burglary on the University of California, Berkeley campus, UC police said.

The latest incident was reported Tuesday on the ninth floor of Evans Hall. Investigators say police arrived to find nine offices had been broken into and computers were missing.

The break-in is the latest in a string of similar window smashing burglaries on campus. Thieves have also struck Northgate, Dwinelle, Cory, Wellman and Moses halls, police said.

Campus police urge residents, campus staff, and visitors to report any suspicious activity. They’re asking anyone with information about the recent burglaries to contact UCPD at 510-642-4909 or email hbennigson@berkeley.edu.
