Police are investigating after finding a body early Friday morning in the Castro in San Francisco.
Around 12:52 a.m. officers responded to reports of a person on the ground at 18th and Castro streets, according to San Francisco Police Department.
Police found the man unresponsive and gave him first aid until medics arrived on scene.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man’s identity has not been released. His cause of death is unknown.
The Office of the Medical Examiner is assisting in the investigation.
