SALINAS (BCN) — Police are investigating a homicide that occurred early Monday morning in Salinas.
According to police, an anonymous caller reported hearing a gunshot shortly after midnight on Bridge Street near East Lake Street.
Officers responded to the area and found 27-year-old Eber Ruiz unconscious and suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
There were no witnesses to the incident, and no further information was made available.
