SAN JOSE (KRON) — Police are investigating a homicide in San Jose, where one man died early Sunday morning.

According to the San Jose police, officers were dispatched to the area of South 2nd Street and Martha Street at 1:46 a.m. of report of a person stabbed.

Upon arrival officers discovered a male victim at the intersection suffering from at least one stab wound, and police quickly transported the victim to a nearby hospital.

Police said the male victim died at the hospital.

An investigation is ongoing, and police do not have a motive or any leads of possible suspects.

This is San Jose’s 28th homicide this year.
