Police are investigating a bomb threat at Facebook’s campus in Menlo Park Tuesday evening.
The Menlo Park Police Department says they were alerted by the New York Police Department of an anonymous tip regarding a bomb threat to Facebook.
Menlo Park police then issued an alert at 5:22 p.m. asking residents to avoid the area of the 200 block of Jefferson Drive near Constitution Drive as they investigate.
Facebook’s campus has been evacuated.
San Mateo County allied agencies bomb units are currently checking the building.
At this time the investigation is ongoing but no device or suspicious package has been located.
Law enforcement officials did not provide any further details on the threat.
