ROHNERT PARK (KRON) — Police in Rohnert Park arrested a juvenile in connection with a high school robbery in Rohnert Park Saturday morning.

According to the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety, around 8:35 this morning a call was received about a burglary at the Rancho Cotate High School.

Upon arrival officer along with school staff discovered items from the Cougar Den shop, a shop on campus, had items like sweaters and jerseys stolen. Officers also discovered dried blood on the window where suspects broke through the glass.

Blood was collected to assist with identification.

According to officers, after the investigation a 16-year-old boy turned himself in and was arrested on suspicion of burglary. Officers released the boy to his parents shortly after.

The juvenile did not have injuries consistent with the blood found on the broken glass.

Officers believe more suspects may be involved, and the investigation is still ongoing.
