BERKELEY (BCN) — Police are looking for three male suspects in a strong-arm robbery early this morning in Berkeley.
Officers received a report of the robbery at 4 a.m. near the intersection of Channing Way and Ellsworth Street, police said.
The victim, a 20-year-old man, was walking when the three suspects approached him and asked him what was in his backpack.
The victim ran but was unable to get away, according to police. The suspects stole his belongings. The suspects were last seen running west
on Channing Way, police said.
The suspects are being described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, bulky and dressed in black hooded sweatshirts and jeans.
The suspects did not appear to have any weapons, according to police. The victim was not injured.
Officers searched for the suspects but were unable to find them.
