MOUNTAIN VIEW (BCN) — Investigators have identified two of four suspects who stole packages off the front porch of a home in Mountain View earlier this month, according to police.
The two female suspects identified by police have not been publicly named because they are juveniles and officers are still looking for two male suspects.
At 2:43 p.m. on Jan. 11, all four suspects approached a porch in the 200 block of Beatrice Street and took two packages that had been delivered that day, police said.
The theft was captured on surveillance cameras. About 15 minutes later, they came back carrying an orange bag that is thought to have been taken out of the stolen parcel, according to police.
Both female suspects approached the porch again and tried to open the locked door before noticing the security camera and quickly leaving the scene, police said.
One of the suspects still at large is described as a Hispanic or white male wearing a red baseball hat, a black hooded sweatshirt, khaki pants and white shoes, according to police.
The second suspect is also described as a Hispanic or white male. He was wearing a dark colored baseball cap with a red rim, a black hooded sweatshirt, light-colored shirt and dark colored jeans, police said.
Investigators are asking anyone with information about the suspects to contact the Mountain View Police Department at (650) 903-6395.
