MORGAN HILL (BCN) — A teen who had escaped from the Santa Clara County William F. James Boys Ranch in Morgan Hill Saturday night was taken into custody Sunday and returned to the facility, police said.
Saturday at 9:14 p.m., police responded to a request by the sheriff’s department to assist in the apprehension of five juveniles who escaped from the detention facility for teenage boys, located at 19050 Malaguerra Ave., according to police.
At 11:17 p.m., authorities were able to locate four of the five boys and took them back into custody, police said.
Police have identified the juvenile who remained at large as 17-year-old Anthony Ruezga of San Jose. Ruezga does not have a violent history, police said.
