OLD HICKORY, Tenn. (WKRN) – Police in Tennessee say a man they arrested Monday was found in bed in an Old Hickory home with a stolen mannequin from a lingerie store.
Officers were called to the Hustler Hollywood store on 14th Avenue North and Church Street Monday morning.
According to a police affidavit, the clerk told officers an intoxicated man walked into the store just after Midnight and took a mannequin into the parking lot, knocking the mannequin’s left arm off in the process.
The police statement said the clerk argued with the man for several minutes and the man put the mannequin in the back of his truck and left.
Police tracked the vehicle to a home in Old Hickory, where they found 55-year-old Christopher Wade in bed with the stolen mannequin.
The clerk told police the mannequin and the merchandise it was wearing was worth an estimated $5,000.
Wade will face charges for theft and for criminal trespassing.
