(KRON) — Police found a body while searching for a missing San Francisco man who vanished after flying to London for a job interview, according to the British Transport Police.
The unidentified body was found in Feltham near train tracks just outside London.
Police have been scouring the area in search of Josh Sanchez-Maldonado, 24, of San Francisco, who worked as a trader and was in London for a job interview, police said.
He was last seen on Oct. 22 at around 12:35 p.m., leaving his hotel, the St. Giles Heathrow, in the city’s Feltham neighborhood, according to London’s Metropolitan Police Service.
Sanchez-Maldonado was scheduled to fly to San Francisco from Heathrow Airport in London but did not board the flight, police said.
The body has not been officially identified but Sanchez-Maldonado’s family has been notified about the development.
