A fake San Leandro masseur has been arrested for sexual battery on a woman, police said on Friday.
Police arrested 61-year-old Baokai Song, of Oakland, at SK Foot Massage, located at 215 Estudillo Ave., No. 100.
Police say Song inappropriately touched and groped a female customer at the studio.
On Saturday, the woman went to the studio and paid for a 30-minute body and 30-minute foot massage. She then went into a private room and got the body massage from the owner of the business.
The owner finished but then asked her brother, an unlicensed and non-employee, to provide the foot massage, police said.
During the foot massage, Song is accused of slowly touching other parts of the woman’s body. That’s when the woman became uncomfortable.
“The suspect became even more aggressive and started touching the customer’s breasts and private area,” police said. “The female customer immediately tried to end the service, but the suspect attempted to escort the customer back to the massage table. The female victim again stood up and exited the room after dressing.”
When the woman got home, she reported the incident to police. Officers then arrested Song at the business.
Song was charged with misdemeanor sexual battery.
“The San Leandro Police Department does not tolerate this type of activity within our massage establishments,” Police Lieutenant Isaac Benabou said. “We take steps to ensure that massage businesses within San Leandro are operating under the law and require that all Massage Therapists are certified through the California Massage Therapy Council.”
Police have ordered the spa to “cease and desist” pending a review of their business license.
The business has been closed indefinitely.
SK Foot Massage was a licensed business open to the public.
