OWASSO, OK (WCMH) – An Oklahoma couple was arrested over the weekend on child abuse charges after what a doctor and multiple nurses describe as “the worst case of child abuse they had seen.”
KJRH reported Kevin Fowler and Aislyn Miller were arrested Saturday.
According to a police report, the suspected abuse was reported by nurses at an Owasso urgent care.
The police report said an infant was suffering from extreme malnutrition, bedsores, severe diaper rash, and an infected finger, KOTV reported.
With a tear in her eye, a nurse reported that one of the children had a maggot crawl out of her genitals. The nurse also told police there was feces in one of the child’s ears and that the child looked ‘like a skeleton.’
Miller allegedly told police that the children hadn’t visited a doctor since they were born.
