SAN JOSE (KRON) — A car collided with a police cruiser early Thursday morning in San Jose, according to police.
Police say a person was driving erratically on McLaughlin Avenue and Cheswick Drive when it hit the police car at 2:42 a.m.
Both drivers received minor injuries, according to authorities.
The driver was cited and released.
No further information on the incident was available.
This comes just days after a San Jose Police motorcycle officer was killed in an accident when he was hit by a car while in the line of duty.
