FAIRFIELD (BCN) — Police arrested a 27-year-old man after he allegedly stabbed another man in front of a Fairfield home Friday morning.
Around 9:30 a.m., officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 200 block of Utah Street, according to police.
Upon arrival officers found a 54-year-old man bleeding from his leg. A suspect, whom the victim knew, allegedly stabbed the victim outside a house.
The victim was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life threatening, police said.
As officers were responding, dispatchers broadcast a description of the suspect. Just a few blocks away, a sergeant stopped a man matching the description.Officers arrested the man, identified as Fairfield resident Saxton Dunn, on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and violation of probation, according to police.
