SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — San Francisco police have arrested the suspect in Saturday morning’s stabbing in the city’s South of Market neighborhood.
21-year-old Kevin Ferreyra is believed to have stabbed a man around 1:10 a.m. in the 200 blockof Sixth Street.
The victim was stabbed at least twice, with wounds to his chest and arm.
Police think this may have been a robbery.
Officers gave emergency aid to the victim, called an ambulance and then began searching for a suspect.
Officers from the Police Department’s Southern Station found a person matching a description of the suspect near Minna and Russ streets, police said.
They found evidence linking Ferreya to the stabbing, and arrested the Richmond resident.
