(BCN) – Police, firefighters and utility crews responded to a water main break this afternoon in Dublin, fire officials said.

Firefighters responded at 2:42 p.m. to a water main break in the 8100 block of Vomac Road, outside of Dublin Elementary School.

Vomac Road between Holanda Lane and Millbrook Avenue was closed as utility crews addressed the break, according to fire officials.

Crews were able to stop the water at 5:15 p.m. and no one was injured.

The road outside the school sustained some damage but classes with start as scheduled on Monday, school officials said.

Because of the street damage, families should anticipate delays as they drop off and pick up their children at school.
