PARIS, Maine (NEWS10) – A dog in a Maine animal shelter since 2014 is begging to be adopted.
The Responsible Pet Care of Oxford Hills shelter made the plea last week.
Ginger, a 7-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier, was dropped off at the shelter as a stray in 2014 and has been there ever since.
“She is an amazing dog, and all the staff here at Responsible Pet Care love her deeply, but she needs a HOME!!!” The shelter posted on Facebook.
The shelter says the dog does have some issues with resource guarding but would be perfect for an older couple, single person or someone with an empty couch that needs space filled.
