PLEASANTON (KRON)—A high school student in Pleasanton was arrested Thursday for making threats to harm a fellow student at his school via social media.

Foothill High School staff were told of the threats and found the suspect away from the school.

The suspect only said he would harm one student.

The Foothill High School student did not mention any weapons and police did not find that he had any.

The threats came from specific interactions between the suspect and the fellow student.

The suspect’s name and age will not be released.

The police are also not releasing the nature of the threats because they are trying to preserve the integrity of the case.
