A Pleasanton man has been searching for his 75-year-old mother, Joanne Caddy, since the fire erupted.
He tells KRON4 he was notified on Thursday night that a search-and-rescue team found remains inside of her Magala home.
DNA tests are being conducted, but her son says he has no reason to doubt that those remains belong to anyone else other than her.
He says the loss of his mom is very hard, but he takes comfort in the fact that he no longer has to wonder what happened to her.
