SONOMA COUNTY (KRON) — A little piglet found wandering around San Francisco is finally getting a new home.
She is headed to a big Sonoma farm. The wayward piglet was found in the Mission District earlier this month.
City animal control named her Janice the piglet.
No one came forward to claim her. But on Monday, the Sonoma County Reptile Rescue Group started caring for the little oinker.
While not a reptile, the facility often helps animal shelters with all sorts of long-term adoptions.
Lots of people asked about adopting Janice.
There was no shortage of love for a pig that lost her way.
