PG&E working to restore power to 10k residents throughout Bay Area

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Almost 21,000 PG&E customers were experiencing power outages during Tuesday’s storm, according to a PG&E spokesperson.

That figure has nearly decreased by half. More than 10,000 people remain without power in the Bay Area, according to officials.

The bulk of those residents are in the North Bay, as PG&E crews work to repair storm-related outages in the region.

“We’ve made significant progress since then,” said utility spokesman Andrea Menniti. “We have extra crews on alert and they’ve been responding to outages as soon as they occur.”

Here is a regional breakdown of how many people were without power.
