PETALUMA (KRON) — Petaluma police are warning parents about a suspicious person who was seen at Casa Grande High School on Thursday.

Police said that a 17-year-old girl was parking her car on Ely Boulevard South when she saw a man standing on the sidewalk near her car.

The teen told police that the man stared at her, making her feel uncomfortable. He then tried to talk to the girl as she was getting out of the car, so she quickly walked to the school parking lot.

The girl told police that she noticed that the man had followed her onto the school parking lot, so she went to a classroom and told her teacher.

Officials searched the school grounds for the man, but they weren’t able to find him. He is described as white, with black and white hair, a thin build, about 50 years old and 6 feet tall. He was wearing a black leather jacket and dark jeans.
