PETALUMA (KRON) — A man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol early Monday morning in Petaluma, according to police.
A citizen called police around 2:25 a.m. Monday to report a vehicle in the 400 block of East Washington Street that might have been in a crash, authorities said.
Officers contacted Chris Schropp, 27, of Petaluma, who appeared intoxicated and could not complete field sobriety tests, police said.
A screening test showed Schropp’s blood-alcohol level to be 0.38 percent, four times the legal limit.
Schropp was arrested and booked under $20,000 bail in Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of DUI, possession of cocaine and possession of a controlled substance.Bay City News Service contributed to this report
