Petaluma gas station robbed Monday afternoon

PETALUMA (KRON) — Officers with the Petaluma Police Department are looking for two men who robbed a gas station Monday afternoon.

Around 1 p.m. on Monday, officers were called to a robbery at the Texaco Gas Station in the 400 block of Petaluma Boulevard S.


A gas station clerk told police that two men came into the store and went behind the counter to where the clerk was standing. One of the men tried to restrain the clerk.

As he struggled, both men stole merchandise from the store and then left the store.

The clerk wasn’t hurt during the robbery.

It’s not known if the men had a weapon, but the store clerk told police that he didn’t see one.

The clerk told police that both of the robbers were men. One is described as a white man, about 20-30 years old, wearing a while and plaid button up flannel with khaki shorts and a black hat. The second man is believed to be an Asian man, about 20-20 years old. He was wearing a black sweatshirt with white squares on the hood and shoulders, with black cargo shorts and black shoes.
