Petaluma Convenience Stores Robbed for the 2nd Time in 2 Days

PETALUMA (KRON) — For the second time in two days, a 7-Eleven in Petaluma has been the target of a robbery.

At about 12:15 Tuesday morning, a man went into the 7-Eleven store in the 400 block of Washington Street and demanded money from the cashier.

Earlier on Monday, a man went into the 7-Eleven store in the 100 block of Petaluma Boulevard S. and made a similar demans.

Police say the robber in Tuesday’s robber indicated he had a gun.

After getting the money, the robber ran off, heading east on Washington Street.

The robber in Tuesday’s burglary was wearing a black ski make, a grey long-sleeved shirt, a black glove and black pants.

That’s similar to the description given in Monday morning’s robbery.

Police are hopeful that a customer who was in the store when Tuesday’s robbery began may be able to provide details.

They are searching for that person.

There have been four other robberies in Petaluma between last Wednesday and Monday.

Officers are looking for any similarities among the crimes.
