UPDATE: BART police have apprehended a person that entered the trackway between Powell and Civic Center in the eastbound direction at around 6 p.m.
The track has temporarily powered down, but full service has now been restored.
There are residual delays of up to 20 minutes.
SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — BART is reporting major delays this afternoon at the Civic Center Station in San Francisco due to a person or persons on the tracks, BART tweeted Thursday.
This is happening on the Millbrae, Daly City, and the East Bay directions, BART said.
