A person is suffering from major injuries after being hit by a car on Interstate 880 Wednesday morning, according to California Highway Patrol.
Around 5:40 a.m. officers responded to an accident on southbound 880 at Stevenson Blvd.
One of the people involved got out of their car, and was hit by another car passing by.
That person has “major” injuries CHP said.
The accident is cleared, but there are major residual delays.
