SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — People gathered today in solidarity for the victims and family members of the shooting in Orlando, Fla.

A march was set in place for all the people affected by the deadly mass shooting on June 5, at a gay nightclub called Pulse in Florida, where 49 people died and several injured by the hands of Omar Mateen.

In the video provided by @toddwhitley, many people were at Justin Herman Plaza in the Castro neighborhood where marchers made their way to the Mission neighborhood to honor the LGBT community, as well as the Latino LGBT community.

San Francisco’s Gay Pride is scheduled to be next weekend, where security will be the main focus this year.
