SAN MATEO COUNTY (KRON) — When it rains, people are supposed to be extra cautious on the road.
For example, you headlights should be on, you should slow down, and you should not follow too close. Basically, you should pay attention to what’s going on around you.
Yet, there are so many crashes reported when it rains. The California Highway Patrol believes that 99 percent of all crashes are avoidable.
Our Stanley Roberts said he believes that 99 percent of the crashes are the result of people behaving badly.
