SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Tourism is big in the San Francisco Bay Area.

But sometimes, residents get overwhelmed when the visitors clog up the neighborhood .

So, some areas have bans put into effect to limit the amount of traffic. Back in 2013, there was a ban placed on tour buses in Alamo Square.

There are signs posted around the area. Some residents were not even aware there was a ban on tour buses in the area.

But are are the bans working? We sent KRON’s Stanley Roberts to find out.
